Prefer sophomores - students who will be around for several years  
 
Look for:  
Social skills  
Customer service skills  
Commitment to schedule. Doesn't have to be a lot of hours, but must be dependable.  
People who come ready to take their work seriously  
 
Won't hire:  
If you can't say hello and introduce yourself  
if 'Mom' is applying to the job for you  
If you won't be there long  
 
Pay:  
$9/hour + tips  
Tips average about $5/hour per person
