Description

The Town of Lexington seeks part time Battle Green Guides beginning August 1st. Ideal for high school students, residents and others with a keen interest in American Revolutionary history and knowledge of Lexington historic sites and businesses. As ambassadors for Lexington, guides will greet visitors and explain local Revolutionary history. Qualifications are a love of history, a dramatic flair, a willingness to dress in colonial clothing and the ability to work outdoors on the Battle Green for up to four hours a day. Ability to greet our international visitors in their native language, especially Chinese, French, and Spanish a plus.

Schedule

from July 26, 2016 until July 26, 2017

Part-time, Seasonal Position Beginning August 1st. Guides are needed daily Memorial Day through October. Plus weekends on a flexible schedule in April and May. Must dress in colonial clothing and have the ability to work outdoors on the Battle Green for up to four hours a day. Ability to greet our international visitors in their native language, especially Chinese, French, and Spanish a plus. No experience necessary, training provided.
