Woodstock: Community Day Of Humanitarian Service, Splitting Wood

Posted on September 28, 2016

Woodstock occurs the 2nd Saturday of every July from 8am until 2pm. Each year, community members gather for 6 hours to split 100 cords of wood. It is delivered to those who cannot otherwise "do" for themselves. The wood is split at a lot across the street (west) of the Smoke Jumper Base, at the McCall Airport. Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age to be onsite.

Starting September 28, 2016 (no end date)

Some volunteers prefer not to work on Saturday and have shown up on Friday afternoons to get things started for the larger group on Saturday morning. 2nd Saturday every July from 8am until 2pm.
