Arts Grants

Arts Grants

Lexington’s Council for the Arts is beginning its 2016 grant cycle and is inviting submissions.

Lexington is part of the Local Cultural Council network that receives state funding in the areas of the arts, humanities, or interpretive sciences (i.e., botanical garden, STEAM programs).

The Council is always interested in creative, out-of-the-box ideas to enrich our community. What sort of projects would you like to see supported for Lexington residents?
Submit an application for yourself or your organization!

Applicants should ensure that any event has a confirmed venue, and is physically accessible to all. For more detailed guidelines, visit: http://blog.artslexington.org/grants/ or email the Council at: artscouncil@lexingtonma.gov

**Deadline for submissions is October 15, 2015

Or if you are a Lexington resident, and would simply like to voice what you want to see in town as it relates to the arts, humanities, and/or interpretive sciences you can pick up a community survey in the Commons Room of Cary Library, or add your voice online at: www.surveymonkey.com/s/2J9L79N

The Council has also set up an artists listserv for Lexington artists to exchange ideas, post questions, and learn about new initiatives in town as well as calls for artists further afield. You can sign up at: https://groups.google.com/d/forum/artslexington or email the Council to be added.

Please share this information with your Lexington neighbors and friends!
