Lexington Symphony Presents "Concert in the Round"

Lexington Symphony Presents "Concert in the Round"

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to sit in an orchestra? Lexington Symphony is breaking down the traditional barriers between orchestra and audience at its Concert in the Round performance at Cary Hall on Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m. This informal concert offers a unique circular seating arrangement on the floor of Cary Hall, enabling audience members to sit in the violin section or sit with the brass as ensembles from the orchestra take turns performing selected musical pieces in succession. Don’t miss this special opportunity to get up close and personal with Music Director Jonathan McPhee and Lexington Symphony. Q&A with Maestro McPhee and orchestra musicians at 6 p.m. Seating is unreserved. Tickets, which are priced at $40 for adults and $15 for students, are available online at www.lexingtonsymphony.org, by phone at 781-523-9009, or at the door at Cary Hall (1605 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington).
