This month’s Munroe Saturday Nights’ performance will be Sublime Odissi: A confluence of poetry, painting, music and mime. This evening will explore the connection of Indian Classical dance with paintings, sculptures, music, literature and theater, presented by acclaimed Odissi dancer Mouli Pal. Also featuring eminent visual artist Sunanda Sahay who will be presenting on the Madhubani style of painting. The artists will engage in a collaborative storytelling through their respective art forms.
The event happens on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at First Parish Church, 7 Harrington Rd., Lexington. Free parking is available in the First Parish parking lot off of 7 Harrington Road (enter the building from the parking lot at the rear of the building); First Parish is handicapped accessible.
