Camp Kesem • A child's friend through and beyond a parent's cancer.

Camp Kesem • A child's friend through and beyond a parent's cancer.

What is Camp Kesem?
Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Kesem is the largest national organization dedicated to supporting children impacted by a parent’s cancer, at no cost to families. Our innovative and fun-filled programs provide children with peers who understand their unique needs, and create long-lasting impact.

Camp Kesem at MIT
We are a group of MIT student volunteers passionate about serving children of cancer patients by hosting two free weeks of sleepaway camp for over 230 incredible campers. From fundraising over $180K to running camp itself, we do it all. Our camp provides a year-round support system for our campers! Applications for this summer’s camps are open now.

Please share this with any parents/caregivers whose children might benefit form this amazing program. There are local chapters run from MIT, Harvard, Boston University and Chestnut Hill. If anyone would like more information I’d be happy to share our experiences.
