2pm to 4pm
Massachusetts artist, Robin Thornhill, has been painting since 2006. She has spent a lot of time near the coast admiring the marshes and beaches of New England – the inspiration for most of my paintings.
She is primarily self-taught and always striving to learn. Throughout the years she has taken courses which include life drawing, design, advanced drawing, and finally oil painting, which has changed her life forever. She soon expanded her mastery to use pastels. Among her memberships she is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, a juried member of Oil Painters of America and The National Association of Women Artists, a member of the Newburyport Art Association and the Experimental Art Group of Rockport, and a core member of the Band of Brushes – a plein air group based out of Newburyport, Ma. Visit www.robinthornhill.com to see more of her work.
Join us for an inspiring afternoon. Speak with the artist and with the many artists of the Guild and find out what it means to be part of this community of artists. Perhaps you will be inspired to take a class or join the group.
Open to the public. Free Admission.
