This is your opportunity to buy some very reasonably priced plants, all of which are donated by members of the garden club from their gardens.  
You will find a nice selection of perennials, shrubs, house plants, and tomato seedlings and other veggies.  
This is the club's major fundraising event which helps to support its public education programs and beautification projects.  
So put the date on your calendar, tell your friends and neighbors, and begin thinking about what plants you would like to add to your garden.  
The garden club’s sale is in connection with the library book sale, which also offers a nice selection of gardening books.  
 
Sale runs until noon or until the plants are sold.  
Come early for the best selection.  
 
 
FRIENDS OF THE MEDFORD LIBRARY BOOK SALE  
 
Saturday, May 20 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm  
Sunday, May 21, from 2 to 5 p.m.  
 
Friends of the Medford Public Library presents its annual spring book sale to benefit the library.  
 
The sale includes tens of thousands of books in good condition and organized by category.  
All these books were donated by generous members of the community.  
Additionally, there are DVDs, CDs, cassettes, games, books on tape, and even LPs!  
Most items are priced at $1.50 or less. . . . quite a bargain, and for a good cause!  
 
There also will be a selection of better quality, new or rare books at slightly higher prices.
