Tuesday, September 12th
2:00pm - 6:30pm
At the Local Food for SNAP Silent Auction, our generous farmers, vendors, and LFM community members donate items for beautiful and delicious gift baskets up for bid. Thanks to fundraising at the LFM and our generous community, the LFM matches up to $15 weekly for SNAP customers, as well as helps to “Close the Gap” at the end of each month with an additional $10. With demand for SNAP matching dollars up 50% this year and increasing, the proceeds from this event are more important than ever! For a complete list of auction items, visit our website: http://www.lexingtonfarmersmarket.org/
We are grateful to be part of a town that wants to share the importance of healthy local food with all members of the community, appreciative of our farmers and vendors who contribute their wonderful products towards the auction baskets, and thankful to LFM volunteer Liza Connolly for organizing the event.
We hope to see you there. Now come bid and bid big!
Grab your bike and pedal on over to the LFM for September's Bike to Market Day! Park your bike with Friends of Lexington Bikeways and receive a $2 coupon - good with any farm or food vendor. Happy Riding!
