What should the Robbins Cooperative Organic Garden plant this Spring?

Saturday January 31st, 9:30Am-12PM
Second floor meeting room
Community Safety Building
112 Mystic Street
Arlington, MA

The gardeners of the Robbins Farm Cooperative Learning Garden will be holding our annual Seed Selection Meeting on Saturday, January 31, from 9:30 AM to noon.

Everyone interested in the crops & varieties we will grow in the garden this upcoming season is welcome.
Prospective new members of the garden group are especially encouraged to attend and join the discussion.
Bring your seed catalogs and great expectations for the coming growing season!

The Robbins Farm Cooperative Learning Garden is located in Robbins Farm Park next to Eastern Avenue, down the hill from the playground.
We garden cooperatively as a group, with everyone working the entire garden and dividing the resulting crops.
Our goal, in concert with the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department and the Friends of Robbins Farm Park, is to spread knowledge and understanding of organic vegetable gardening.

Each year we enthusiastically accept new members. Each member pays a nominal fee and commits to spending time each month in the garden, often during the times twice a week when we garden as a group. It’s a great way to meet new people and learn about successful vegetable gardening.
