Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra has Openings for Instrumentalists

The Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra would like to invite instrumentalists in Arlington, Belmont, Winchester, Lexington and surrounding towns to join us for our 2014-2015 season. The Orchestra, part of the Philharmonic Society of Arlington, will perform five concerts this season, Our first concert on November 2, 2014, features Schumann's 3rd Symphony ("Rhenish"). Other concerts include a holiday concert in December with the Arlington-Belmont Chorale, our annual Family Concert in February, a concert to thank our Sponsors in April and POPS in June 2015. The Orchestra, under Music Director Joan Landry, performs a wide variety of orchestral and symphonic literature from different time periods and is open to all string players with no audition (woodwind and brass players should contact the Music Director for availability of parts and placement). We rehearse every Wednesday 7:30-9:45 at the First Parish Unitarian-Universalist Church of Arlington in Arlington Center. The first rehearsal is Wednesday, September 3, 2014. For more information about the Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra visit www.psarlington.org or like the Philharmonic Society of Arlington page on Facebook.
