Homes in the Heart of Lexington: A Tour of Houses

On Sunday, June 1st, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., the Lexington Historical Society will sponsor its 5th house tour, Homes in the Heart of Lexington. This remarkable house tour focuses on homes within walking distance of Lexington Center. The tour showcases over 200 years of residential change in style. Included are a dozen varied homes, from the first brick house built in Lexington, to mid-19th Century summer estates developed as a result of the arrival of the railroad, to a contemporary condominium for empty-nesters.  
 
Advance purchase tickets: $20/members and $25/non-members. Tickets can be ordered at the Depot, Buckman Tavern, online at www.lexingtonhistory.org, or by calling 781-862-1703. Tickets can be purchased the day of tour at the Depot for $25/members and $30/non-members. The tour begins at the Depot. All tour proceeds will benefit the preservation and education work of the Society.
