3-22 Save the Date: Concert for Children

Please save the date for Saturday, March 22 to attend a cancer benefit concert featuring children’s performers.  
 
Join us for an afternoon of fun and music while supporting the Melanoma Foundation of New England in Lexington on March 22nd at Community Nursery School, 2325 Mass Ave in Lexington.  
 
Entertainers include Tom Foote, of Footnotes Music, and Vanessa Trien, of Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys. In addition to the interactive music performances, there will be a Kempo karate demonstration provided by Callahan’s Karate in Bedford and a raffle featuring goodies from some of Lexington’s favorite businesses including: a week of camp at Empow Studio, manicures at Mini-Lux, and gift cards for some of the best restaurants in town!  
 
This event is being hosted by Anne Boulter, a Lexington resident and cancer survivor who is active in LexFUN!, the Maria Hastings Elementary School, and Community Nursery School. To celebrate the success of her treatment, and to raise important funds for the Melanoma Foundation of New England, Anne, with her friends and family, are pulling out all the stops for this special event on Saturday, March 22nd. Admission is $12 per child, with a family max of $40. Come ready to have some fun!  
 
Entertainment will take place throughout the afternoon:  
1:15 pm Drumming and Singing with Tom Foote  
2:20 pm Interactive Music Set with Vanessa Trien  
3:15 pm Karate Demonstration  
Raffles all afternoon
